About Carlos Bernate

Carlos Bernate is a Colombian documentary photographer, whose work is focused on exploring and understanding the social dynamics that make us human's or otherwise make us lose humanity. Carlos was born in Bucaramanga (COL) and has a college degree on photography from the University Jorge Tadeo Lozano in Bogotá.

His work has been featured in Semana Magazine, Pacifista, Vice Colombia, Metro News Paper, The City Paper Bogota, Espacio GAF (Mexico), FuriaMag, Editorial University Jorge Tadeo Lozano. 

Also has contributed to international agencies like NurPhoto (Italia), Pacific Press Agency (Filipinas), Agencia de Cronistas Gráficos (Ecuador), Agencia Plano (Brasil).
